Sugar cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
2 tbs vinegar
2 tsp vanilla

Mix well and add:

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 cups flour

Mix and bake at 350°F.
